Managing Partner - Walt has over 20 years experience consulting and working for credit unions, primarily focusing on Organizational Development, Strategic Planning, Lending Systems Development and Marketing, but also running the gamut of Starting and managing CUSO’s, to running a Credit Union as CEO.  Major projects have ranged from all aspects of Marketing to Lending Program development, including risk-based pricing and indirect lending.  In addition, Walt has vast experience in project management development including areas of organizational development, staff training, all aspects of HR management, program design and Product Development for CUSO formations and business start-ups.

Walt entered the Credit Union movement in the early eighties after being recruited by CUNA Mutual as a consultant to start a National Credit Union financial planning process for Credit Union members called Plan America. He then held a senior management positions with the California Credit Union League, League Services Corporation until starting Advanced Solutions in 1989.  Advanced Solutions was a credit union specific marketing and management consulting company that was purchased by Liberty Enterprises in 1998 which allowed Liberty to expand their national marketing and consulting strategies. 

Since selling Advanced Solutions, Walt has maintained his contact and presence in the Credit Union marketplace as President/CEO of a CUSO owned by a billion dollar Credit Union on the east coast.  He was also President/CEO of a Credit Union in the Los Angeles area.  During his tenure as the Credit Union CEO, he facilitated the start-up and operation of a Credit Union Owned Auto Dealership CUSO called Autoseekers. Autoseekers was developed as a collaborative CUSO, serving other credit unions in the local area, providing new and used car buying services, wholesale disposition of vehicles for credit unions, and indirect lending.

Walt continues to manage his consulting practice under the CU Professional Services name and he retains more than a dozen credit union consulting and professional services relationships with Credit Unions across the country. He is also developing a national indirect lending platform for credit unions in addition to starting up a software development company. Walt continues to be a frequent speaker and presenter at local and national Credit Union related conferences and workshops.

Rick Casillas, Jr. -  Rick has been working with Credit Unions since 1990 and has a unique understanding of the industry.  Most recently, Rick served as the Marketing/ Communications Director for a credit union in So. California and he held that position for over 8 years.

Before that, he spent many years in the banking and mortgage industry learning the intricacies of the financial services industry. With an MBA in Marketing from the University of La Verne, Mr. Casillas offers professional, experienced leadership to CU Professional Services and brings this expertise directly to your Credit Union. He looks forward to meeting you and personally providing his services to your Credit Union.

Richard G. Ayala - Richard has been in the Credit Union industry since 1990 and possess many years experience in the financial industry. He is a graduate of the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management and is currently a Doctorate candidate at Stanford University's Department of Psychology.
